Which Tolerance set to build first
Build Crush and Manaburn Tolerance first. Each covers four bosses, and together they fully cover Sorgott and Hyxxis.
Every boss has two corruptions, one damage and one control. A Tolerance set gives +50% Tolerance to one at 3 pieces, shortening it, plus +20% HP, ATK and DEF at 5 pieces on all twelve sets.

Crush is also the nastiest on paper: it stuns and makes the target take double damage from every source.
Where the game’s text is wrong
- Crush and Manaburn sets forget the clan boss. Their descriptions leave out Sorgott, whose corruptions are exactly Crush and Manaburn (its boss guide says most of its damage is Manaburn). The other ten sets list their bosses correctly.
- Koltmos’s tip names the wrong Tolerance. It says Bloodrot and Manashock, but its corruptions are Manashock and Blight. Bring Blight.
Tolerance on your Invokers
| Rarity | Tolerances | Start | Max (+10% per upgrade) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common, Uncommon, Rare | 1 | 50% | 150% |
| Epic | 2 | 50% each | 150% each |
| Legendary | 2 | 100% each | 200% each |
- Control corruptions get shorter by your Tolerance; damage corruptions hit softer. At 100%, Daze can’t purge buffs, and Paralysis and Nightmare can’t add cooldowns.
- Boss stages shift every Tolerance: +75% on stage 1, 0 from stage 10, -100% on stages 19-20 (never below 0). Per stage: How bosses scale.
- Fatigue (46 Invokers) and Crush (43) are the most common innate Tolerances; Paralysis is the rarest (17). Crush has the most Legendaries (22).
Boss tips worth knowing
From the game’s own boss guides:
- Sakiel takes 50% less damage from Bleed and Burn, and they lower its cooldowns. Invest in Accuracy to land debuffs and steal its buffs.
- Sorgott hits through Tolerances and your max HP, so DEF won’t save you. Mindworm doesn’t stop its passive.
- Yskara gives
Melee Attackers +100% ATK;
Ranged miss out. Koltmos is the opposite: bring Ranged for its Doomclaws. - Ulgorim and Hyxxis are immune to crowd control.
- Galvos wants one
Tank, not two: a single defender takes its attention and all your buffs.
